The Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation

A national organisation of and for disabled people, supporting over 500 local and national disability organisations, campaigning for improvements in disabled people's lives and providing information to support independence and equality for disabled people. The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association - Forces Help, the national charity, which helps serving and ex-Service men, women and their families in need, suffering or distress, regardless of age or condition

Disability North

Disability North is an independent voluntary organisation working throughout the North of England, based at the Dene Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne.

It offers free and confidential services to disabled people of any age including children and older people, their families, carers and workers. They provide information and practical advice on:

Durham LPC (Local Pharmaceutical Committee)

This site is aimed primarily at Pharmacy Contractors, but it has a useful section with the names, addresses and contact details of every Pharmacy within the LPC area, names and addresses of local Health Contacts, hyperlinks to Patient Support Group websites and links to a wide range of Health Information
